Just because you cannot actually see the traffic areas and soiling in your carpeting...does not mean that it does not have massive amounts of soil that need to be removed.

A test that you can perform at home is to take an absorbent, white terry towel; wet it with water, and then lightly work it into an area on your carpeting. If the towel comes up any darker than an extremely light shade of grey (almost white)...it is time to have your carpeting professionally cleaned and thoroughly rinsed.
